PSHE - SCARF Knowledge Organiser and Progression Map
Welcome to Term 1 in Simmonds Class.
In English we are building up to writing our own versions of The way back home by Oliver Jeffers. We will be looking at statement sentences, noun phrases, joining sentences using 'and' and time adverbials.
Maths. In math we have been working really hard on all the areas. Time, especially telling the time on an analogue clock is something we are finding a little tricky. Practicing at home would be really helpful.
This term in Science we are learning how to categorize living and non living things. We will also be looking at food chains and micro habitats.
In History we are investigating a fictional character who lived during the time of World War One and why he was sent to prison.
Reading at home. Please read with your children at least 3 times a week.
