Space Rocket Crashes at School!

Last night, bright lights were reported over Shrewton CE Primary School and a large bang was heard by residents.  Mr. Russell raced to school to find some smoking wreckage lying in the field by the greenhouse.  Luckily no-one was hurt.

 

Following a visit by the Army and Wiltshire Police the site was declared safe and the school opened as normal.

 

Coincidentally, our new topic is 'To Infinity and Beyond!' and this remarkable event has certainly got our children talking about space.

Coincidentally also, we have a Planetarium visiting school today.

A very kind ambulance paramedic volunteered to stay behind and show the children around his ambulance.
