Wiltshire Wildlife

On the 20th of May, Owl Class had the pleasure of learning about the school's wildlife. We had a Wiltshire wildlife lady, (Anne) come in and do some activities with us! Firstly, she talked to us a little bit about the wildlife in (and around) the pond. Now Since we have a pond at 0ur school, we did pond dipping, a very interesting experience. We managed to find a lot of creatures such as: tadpoles, water boatman, and many other sorts of creatures! After, we did planting around the pond, we also plays some games. We learned about the life cycle of some of the pond creatures and plants as well as the food chain.

Overall, we had a good morning with Anne -the Wiltshire wildlife person- and would definitely do it again and hopefully learn more next time!!!
